Solemn Vespers & Blessing of Pontifical Insignia

Monday, September 7, 2015 at 5:00pm  |  Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels

Everyone is invited to attend this special ceremony taking place on the eve of the Ordination Mass.  During the service, the Episcopal Insignia (the mitres, rings and croziers of the three new Auxiliary Bishops) will be blessed in preparation for the Ordination which will take place the following day.  We encourage the faithful to attend this special ceremony.  It is a wonderful way to participate and share firsthand in the Ordination events.

All are invited to attend.  Parking is available at the Cathedral Parking Structure for $5.  >>More Parking Info.

Mass of Episcopal Ordination

Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 2:00pm | Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels

The Most Reverend José H. Gomez, Archbishop of Los Angeles, presiding. Ecclesial ornaments will be conferred upon each Bishop.

Due to limitations in seating capacity, the ceremony is by invitation only.  Tickets will be required for admittance to the parking structure and to the Cathedral.   Parking at the Cathedral will be extremely limited.  Additional parking options are available.  >> Parking Info.
