Under supervision of the Director of Admission and Advancement, the Associate Director of Advancement plays a critical role in supporting Bishop Diego. They maintain the development database, engage with donors and alumni, and provide support for the Advancement Office. This person handles confidential information, utilizes data to help inform decisions, and leads special projects. They have a strong rapport with students, parents, alumni, donors, and staff alike. They also have a deep appreciation for the Catholic faith and a commitment to the teachings of the Church. 

 

As the Associate Director of Advancement, a typical day might include:

 

o  Creating and implementing a robust social media presence

o  Auditing the website for necessary updates

o  Engaging with members of the Bishop Diego Community

o  Coordinating a mailing campaign

o  Preparing donor acknowledgment letters 

o  Maintaining accurate gift records 

o  Planning a fundraising, community building, or alumni event

o  Managing marketing or alumni media 

o  Assisting with recruitment and re-enrollment activities

Requirements:

Preferred candidates will have:

o  A Bachelor's degree

o  One to three years' experience in fundraising/marketing

o  Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communications skills

o  A high level of initiative, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

o  Direct experience with PCR, Microsoft Office & Excel, events management, social media, and digital communications
