St. Bernard High School is a college-preparatory high school located between the new Googleplex at Playa Vista, the hub of the aerospace industry, and an international airport. This job is an opportunity for a forward-thinking teacher who wants to build confidence and inspire students to consider careers in Math and Science. St. Bernard is looking for an experienced educator to inspire students and motivate an interest and success in chemistry and Algebra II.



Bachelor’s degree in Science or Math; 3 or more years teaching experience; Excellent planning, teaching, and assessment skills; Knowledge of current trends in STEM education; Experience using instructional technology; An ability to convey enthusiasm for the subjects of science and math; Strong classroom management strategies


Desirable qualities

Credential in Science or Math or Multiple Subject Credential with emphasis in STEM courses

MA in Education and/or Science or Math

Experience teaching at the high school level

Catholic school teaching experience
