The Southern California Partners for Global Justice is sponsoring its annual symposium on Saturday, March 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on the Doheny Campus of Mount St. Mary’s College (near the campus of U.S.C.). This year’s symposium is entitled, “What my parents don’t know @ Internet #Link-to-Human Trafficking.”
The keynote speaker is Ms. Tracy Webb of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. She is the Senior Trial Deputy in Charge of Cyber Crime, and a member of the Child Abuse Prosecution Division of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC). Symposium participants will hear about the dangers to which children and young adults are exposed with technology and the Internet. While strongly recommended for educators and parents, this symposium is open to the public.
