Our Mother of Good Counsel Parish in Los Angeles is hosting Bp. Remi De Roo for its annual Lenten Mission. 
Bp. De Roo is the retired bishop of the Diocese of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  He is one of the few remaining bishops who attended Vatican II (1962-1965), and gave four speeches during the Council.  The theme of his presentations is “Vatican II and the Church Today.”  His topics will include:  “Vatican II:  Wisdom for Today, Compass for Tomorrow”; “Vatican II:  Guidelines for Faith”; and “Spirituality of Vatican II.” 
Bp. De Roo will be speaking on Monday, 18 February;
Tuesday, 19 February;
and Wednesday, 20 February. 
He will speak at 9:00 a.m. each day, repeated at 7:00 p.m. each day. 
All are welcome.  This event is free and open to the public.  Donations will be gratefully accepted.
