Distance Learning

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles, in partnership with the University of Dayton, offers an opportunity to participate in an e-learning initiative.

A number of Archdiocesan offices collaborate to make this opportunity possible to those who wish to deepen their understanding of their faith, and to learn more about their religious background and church teaching.

A wide variety of courses and seminars are available throughout the course of the year. A complete listing may be found by clicking on this link ( opens a new window and the VLCFF website at the University of Dayton).

About Distance Learning

What is Distance Learning?

In partnership with the Institute of Pastoral Initiatives at the University of Dayton, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles offers an internet-based e-learning opportunity. It is an ideal solution for people who want to learn more about their faith but who are constrained by time, distance, and family or work-related responsibilities.

Your classroom is your own computer desk, and your co-learners are from all over the country. Set your own schedule for participation in the courses offered. Join other students at the Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation (VLCFF)
