Strategic Planning, Government Program Services, Cordination of Resources, Special Projects
To assist in the process of strategic planning for schools, the staff provides the following services:
- collection of data and preparation of reports to support schools in their strategic planning efforts;
- consultation with schools in the planning process.
To ensure the maximum benefits from government support programs and to help schools comply with legal requirements, the staff coordinates the following activities :
- updating health/safety regulation;
- participation in available government funded programs (Title I, food programs, etc.);
- regulations regarding preschool and before/after school care programs;
- state pre-schools.
To facilitate the implementation of the "Financial Plan for Parish Elementary Schools", the staff provides the following services:
- recruitment of persons with expertise in fundraising, budgeting, planning and organization;
- training and placement of volunteers in parish school situations;
- coordination of programs, workshops and seminars for parish school leaders;
- liaison with the Advisory Council for Special Resources.
