Strategic Planning, Government Program Services, Cordination of Resources, Special Projects

To assist in the process of strategic planning for schools, the staff provides the following services:

  • collection of data and preparation of reports to support schools in their strategic planning efforts;
  • consultation with schools in the planning process.

To ensure the maximum benefits from government support programs and to help schools comply with legal requirements, the staff coordinates the following activities :

  • updating health/safety regulation;
  • participation in available government funded programs (Title I, food programs, etc.);
  • regulations regarding preschool and before/after school care programs;
  • state pre-schools.

To facilitate the implementation of the "Financial Plan for Parish Elementary Schools", the staff provides the following services:

  • recruitment of persons with expertise in fundraising, budgeting, planning and organization;
  • training and placement of volunteers in parish school situations;
  • coordination of programs, workshops and seminars for parish school leaders;
  • liaison with the Advisory Council for Special Resources.
