The objective of the C3 initiative is to provide robust wireless broadband communication connectivity and devices using Sprint products and serves to ensure effective use of the Archdiocese's EBS spectrum licenses to utilize USAC E-rate and other parallel funding opportunities, to innovate in all areas of education, ministry, and administration, and to improve services to our stakeholders throughout the community.


 2018 C3 Tech-Conference Workshop Proposal Form

·         The 7th Annual C3 Technology Conference will be held this year at Loyola Marymount University from

Thursday, August 9 through Saturday, August 11.


Our theme is New Missionary Roads: Navigating the Digital Continent.


·         We are inviting you to consider submitting a proposal(s) to present a workshop at the C3 Tech Conference. Please complete the following form by May 1, 2018 (this form will remain open until we begin building the schedule. If it allows you to submit, we will see your proposal. If it does not, the time for submissions has ended).


·         The C3 Working Group will review proposals as received and will inform you of our decision no later than May 20, 2018. If your workshop is selected, we will immediately need a bio (or updated bio). Presenters may be asked to offer the 1.25 hour workshop once or twice


·         Please share this link with colleagues at your parish, religious education program and school. We are making a special effort to create a workshop schedule that balances parish and school topics and to expand workshops in Spanish. We are thinking of topics such as:

o   Using Technology For Emergency Preparedness

o   Effective Parish Websites - Beauty vs. Practical

o   Maker and STEM Initiatives -The How’s and Why’s

o   Communicating with the Z and Touch Generations

o   Catfishing - Risks and Realities

o   Engaging Families With School Devices-The Accessibility Challenge

·         The Conference has been set for Thursday, Friday and Saturday to facilitate participation from school and parish staffs, clergy, volunteers, young adults and other interested persons.
