BACKGROUND

In 2010, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles embarked on an innovative four-year program known as the Catholic Communication Collaboration (C3) Pilot to assess and improve educational technologies in our schools, parishes, regional offices, and the Archdiocesan Catholic Center, and to make effective use of our Educational Broadband Service (EBS) licenses.
In 2014, the Archdiocese established a team of C3 Resource Specialists to help parishes and schools improve their use of technology, taking advantage of knowledge and experience gained from the pilot and after.
 

FUNDING

We’ve secured funding for technology projects via:
• E-rate and California Teleconnect
   Fund (can pay 60% - 90% of
   eligible school internet, phone, and
   infrastructure costs)
• Savings from short-ROI (Return on
   Investment) solutions
• Foundation/other grants
