Media Relations

The Media Relations Office is the official contact for news media and other organizations seeking information and/or comment from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Media Relations is also a resource for information regarding official Church teaching, policies and procedures. The office often speaks on behalf of Archbishop José Gomez and other local church leaders.

Media Relations also represents other Departments in the Archdiocesan Catholic Center, as well as the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. The office also provides communications assistance to parishes and schools throughout the archdiocese. Media Relations is also the official source for all archdiocesan press releases, media advisories and special statements.
