 Justice & Peace Commission

The mission of the Justice and Peace Commission of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles is to advise and support the Office of Life, Justice and Peace in fulfilling its mission to:

  • Educate the people of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles on the principles of Catholic social teaching and its application to local, national, and international issues of our time;
     
  • Advocate for public policy which affirms human life and human dignity through a consistent life ethic;
      
  • Develop a constituency on social concerns.
