 Sisters' Council

The Sisters’ Council, which meets four times yearly, is comprised of members are representatives of the various religious institutes within the Archdiocese. The Sisters' Council strives to facilitate inter-community cooperation among women religious, to be a means of communication among women religious and a forum through which they can speak to the Church and to the world, to effect greater solidarity among Archdiocesan, parish and civic communities by close collaboration with clergy, religious men and laity, and to represent the women religious of the Archdiocese.

Occasionally, the Council acts as an advisory group to the Archbishop and deals with issues pertaining to various facets of the life of the Archdiocese in suggesting ways religious can assist in meeting the needs of the people of God within the local Church.
