Her vision of liturgy is that this “work of the people” happens when faith
filled people come together to celebrate and praise the God that lives among us.
Sunday worship becomes truly effective when it bears fruit in acts of solidarity
and compassion throughout the rest of the week.
Born in Oak Park, Illinois, Sr. Rosanne grew up in the San Fernando Valley.
Her family were charter members of St. John Baptist de la Salle Parish. She
graduated form the local parish school and Alemany High School. She holds a BA
degree from Mount St. Mary’s College and an MA degree in Theology from Gonzaga
University. She has taught at the elementary and high school levels and spent
some time working in the missions in Latin America. Her special expertise is in
the area of Christian Initiation.
Rev. Manuel Sanahuja, Hispanic Liturgy Ministry Coordinator
Fr. Manuel Sanahuja is committed to a liturgical life in individuals and
communities which recognizes the mysterious presence of a loving God urging each
one to be forone another "so that the world might believe". In a special way, he
is dedicated to the gifts and challenges Latinos bring toour church as they
express their faith in life and worship.
Born in Spain, Fr. Manuel studied theology at Catholic University in
Washington. He holds degrees in Theology and Social Sciences. Forthree decadeshe
has been active in the L.A. Archdiocese as a parish priest and as instructor in
the areas of bible, catechesis and liturgy.
